How to use Groups

There are lots of things you can do with groups, but many of them must be initiated from other pages on the site.

How to share a project with this group

1. Navigate to your projects page (or create a new project)
2. Click the 'edit' link
3. Scroll down the page until you see the public/private settings
4. Click the checkbox for this group
5. At the bottom of the page, click 'Submit' to save your changes
6. Congratulations, the project should now appear in this group.

How to share a Notebook post with this group

1. Navigate to your Notebook page (or create a new post)
2. Click the 'edit' link
3. Scroll down the page until you see the public/private settings
4. Click the checkbox for this group
5. At the bottom of the page, click 'Submit' to save your changes
6. Congratulations, the Notebook post should now appear in this group.

How to invite friends to this group

1. Click the 'invite' link if it is visible. If it is not visible, you are not allowed to invite others to this group.
2. On the 'invite' page, add the email addresses of the people who you'd like to join the group.
3. Add your invitation message and send.
4. Congratulations, your email invitations should be sent. Now your friends can register with DreamFactory.org and be added to this group.
